ReplyDeletePS I just LOVE Google Reader!!
Love you,
Cindy,
ReplyDeleteYour autumnal photos look just like Southern California--the same colors in the leaves.
Love your photos!
Could that pink rose be Mary Rose?

ReplyDeleteI love the Ronald Reagan Rose. Simply Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteJust looking at the roses makes me feel happier.
All of your roses look gorgeous & healthy Cindy. I especially love the Ronald Reagan. What a nice shade of red.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots. Great captures Cindy. Everything looks so lush and healthy, they should sell very well as cards and fine art prints.

Going hand in hand with appreciating what you have is learning to be content. I used to have a very good friend (who has gone on to heaven) who asked me time and time again, "How did you learn to be content?" She felt it was the secret to happiness and I think she was right. Sadly, I don't think she ever figured out the way to be content in this life. I don't think being content means not desiring more, but simply being okay if you don't have it. I think you are perfectly content. :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful roses Cindy. They make me want to go out and buy pink sheets and spray them in a rose scent just to feel like I'm relaxing in a rose garden. You have such an eye for the beauty around you. Don't ever lose it.
ReplyDeleteYour rose photographs are exquisite. I love how you've captured the light in the 'Golden Showers' photo. Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteA third bloom, wow! Your photos are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteCindy, I can't imagine you rueing what you don't have. I have always know you to be so positive. But we all have bad days. I hope yours are few and far between.
I have had so little time to blog and comment for the past 4 months, and I'm sure I've missed some great posts. And now we're going away again--which is good for family visits but bad for blogging!
