It's "Giveaway Saturday" at Rosehaven Cottage!

Going along with the September theme from last week's giveaway, I'm giving away a set of 12 blank photo notecards entitled "Views of September". Each of the 12 images is from the new gallery show over at the Rosehaven Cottage Art Gallery entitled "Views of September" (click here if you want a closer look at what will be on the cards).

Each notecard is signed and dated, ready to send and/or frame. Mounted on the notecard using clear archival photo corners, the photograph is easily removed by you or the recipient for framing. The premium quality glossy photographs have been printed in-house on a professional Canon printer with archival inks on Canon ChromoLife 100 paper. Each photograph is also signed and dated on an adhesive signature panel on the back so it retains a signature if removed from the cardstock.

Each card measures 5.25" x 7.75" and is constructed of bright white 100 lb. cardstock and comes with a premium quality 5" x 8" envelope in natural white (the photograph without notecard measures 4.75" x 7.25").

The drawing is being held next Monday, September 22nd--the first day of autumn!

"Giveaway Saturday" Guidelines
Every Saturday, I am showcasing a piece of my art or photography that I'm giving away based on a random drawing the following Saturday. Everyone who leaves a comment will be entered. Each person will only be counted once so duplicate comments won't help your odds (sorry). I will pay shipping to whomever wins the drawing to ANYWHERE in the world that I can send something via conventional post. If you don't have an email link connected to the i.d. you use to leave the comment, then you'll have to check back the following Saturday to find out if you won and then contact me via email so I can get your postal address privately. If you do have an email link connected to the i.d. you use, then I will contact you off the blog as well as announce you as the winner. Basically, it's the standard blog giveaway rules that are out there in the "blog-o-sphere" already.

Congratulations to Robin at Bittersweet Punkin (comment number 15) for winning today's drawing for the "In the Garden" dimensional notecard set!

And never fear... if you didn't win today's drawing there's one a week from today!

For next week's "Giveaway Saturday" drawing, I'm giving away a piece of my original Vintage Recipe Shadowbox Art.

Framed in a shadowbox, this piece of hand-cut dimensional paper art is designed and hand-constructed by me. Featuring a real vintage recipe for "Magic Chocolate Pie" and a high-quality reproduction of original watercolor illustrations, this piece is hand-cut and hand-constructed in layers on a photographic reproduction of a vintage red and white checked tablecloth. The finished white wooden frame measures 9 1/2" x 9 1/2" square. I have signed the piece and also included the full recipe on the back of the piece (just in case you ever want to make it!).

Good luck to everyone and feel free to spread the word via email or links or however you choose--the more the merrier!

This "Giveaway Saturday", I'm giving away a set of 4 signed dimensional photo notecards entitled "In the Garden" featuring my photography and hand-cutting art. Each card has a hand-cut three-dimensional "pop out" component that makes the photo seem to come to life.

Each notecard is signed and dated, ready to send and/or frame and packaged in its own protective cellophane sleeve. The dimensional art photos are "mounted" on the notecards without adhesives in clear corners, so they are easily removed by you or the recipient for framing. Each dimensional photo is also signed and dated on a signature panel on the back so it retains a signature when removed from the card. Each card measures 5 1/2" square (with matching 6"x 6" white envelope). Each dimensional photo without notecard measures 5" square.

Good luck to everyone and feel free to spread the word via email or links or however you choose--the more the merrier!

It's "Giveaway Saturday" at Rosehaven Cottage!

As I said in my last post, I've been doing a lot of soul-searching this week about what direction I want my creative path to follow. Interestingly, everything finally "gelled" for me while Hubby and I were sitting in a movie theatre watching The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. I'm dead serious!

I have come to the conclusion that I care more about sharing my creative work with those that will give it a good home than I do about making a buck. So I'm going to be implementing a lot of new and exciting things over the next few months into my blogs and website that will make that possible.

One thing that I can institute right away is what I'm going to call "Giveaway Saturday".

Every Saturday, I'm going to showcase a piece of my art or photography that I will be giving away based on a random drawing the following Saturday. Everyone who leaves a comment will be entered. Each person will only be counted once so duplicate comments won't help your odds (sorry). I will pay shipping to whomever wins the drawing. Basically, it's the standard blog giveaway rules that are out there in the "blog-o-sphere" already.

So...

This "Giveaway Saturday", I'm giving away a set of 3 signed photo notecards entitled "Vintage Roses" featuring my photography, digital art, and hand-cut paper art. Each notecard is signed and dated, ready to send and/or frame. The art photos are "mounted" on the notecards without adhesives in handcut decorative corners, so they are easily removed by you or the recipient for framing. The photo art is also signed and dated on a signature panel on the back so it retains a signature when removed from the card. Each card measures 5 1/2" square (with matching 6"x 6" white envelope). Each art photo without notecard measures 5" square.

Good luck to everyone and feel welcome to spread the word via email or links or however you choose--the more the merrier!
