I am very grateful to hear that I'm not the only one who has been engaged in challenging plumbing projects that have failed. I now leave it to the experts and go on my merry way knowing that if there's a failure the only error I own is not engaging the right plumber.Hubbynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4732609668331686820.post-49426366119841206012009-08-02T20:31:17.051-07:002009-08-02T20:31:17.051-07:00I have to tell you that I am feeling your pain! I tightened up the nut too tight and caused the compression sleeve to fail. 10 minutes after I fixed it the homeowner called me and said she had a leak. The hose had came off entirely. Good thing I installed a valve to turn it off or we'd had a real mess.Randy Emmitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10292186655869617897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4732609668331686820.post-38260458665158421112009-08-02T14:39:16.226-07:002009-08-02T14:39:16.226-07:00Plumbing is the one handyman task I will never let...Plumbing is the one handyman task I will never let my husband do again -- and thankfully my stories aren't anywhere near as bad as what you went through! BUT .. RONA did the "right thing" owned up to the "team from hell" who didn't know what they were doing and installed a new shower in our downstairs bathroom from hell .. it is hard for us to believe that it DOESN'T leak any more ..
Home renos ? we have been through the mill but there is a sad comfort to know other people have the curse too ?
Loved the story .. thanks : )CanadianGardenJoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18130452541076704075noreply@blogger.com
